Anthropologists belive that the human species dates back at least 2 million years.For most of our history these distant ancestors lived as hunters and gatheres.This way of life kept thier total numbers small for most of human history up to around 10 thousand years ago generally accepted by science. Earth human population remained stabilized around 8 to 10 million. Since then it has grown at varying rates to reach its present level of about 7,000 million 7.0 billion.This growth started when people began to grow crops and domesticate animals agricultural revolution which initiated the change from a hunter/gatherer subsitence natursl food supply to technology driven food supply agricultral.The more recent explosive growth which causes serious population growth problems and enviromental problems,is due to march more than just advances in industrial technology.Among other factors is the decrease in the death rate due to advances in medicine and sanitation.........
