Today textile is the largest organized industry in india. It employees more than 35 million workers and has more than 34 spindles and 2 million looms. More significantly it is one of India major sources of forgein exchange, being the second largest exporting largest exporting industry and accounting for about 20 percent of the total foreign exchange earning of the country. Indian textile are exported all over the worls.
