Computer is one of the modern inventions of science. Nowadays computers are being used in every field of life. They are used in offices to keep the records and calculations, shopkeepers are using computers for the purposes of calculations and making history  and records of the patients.These are also using computers for making reports of purchase and sales. Doctors are using computers for making drawings, pictures and photographs. Police department and in other investigating agencies, these are used to make the sketches of criminals and smugglers and also for making their secret plans. In scientific cum research laboratories computers help in storing data and other valuable information.
Another use of computer is in the internet which is the backbone on international technology I.T. Actually internet is a network of computer system that have been connected to each other through satellites, telephone, lines and optical cables.So to say that computers  are access to a large volume of precious and useful information through internet. To say more internet is the mode of communications to all via email. We can send email to all corners of the world at very cheapest rate. Internet can be used to collect information from various storage areas of the servers called web sites. This information could relate to education, medicine, literature, software, business, entertainment, friendship, and leisure. Internet is also used for carrying out business operations and that set of operations is known as Electronic Commerce E-com.
All the major newspaper, magazines and journals of the world are available on internet. Therefore necessity and journals of the computer  is endless. The student can enhances his knowledge about the world in a matter of few hours while he is using computer in the shape of internet.
On visualizing the above mentioned uses of computers it is clear that computers are playing their great role in helping mankind in every field......

The newspaper and magazines have their own importance and advantages. The brings news and other information from all corners of the world to us.They contain useful information with articles discussing problems on the latest situations. The public remains in touch with the leading thoughts and trends of the country as well as those of the world. We get news_national as well as international 
social, political, economic,scientific,literacy and religion events are reported by all the newspaper.
They help in creating the spirit of goodwill and mutual understanding among all the nations of the world.
They are a good mood of publicity and propaganda. In the editorial  columns, one can know many things.
Some newspaper give news regarding murder, crime, scandals,divorce, abduction and other such subjects. Such types of news can have  bad effect upon the readers. But as compared with the merits of newspaper these minor disadvantages could be safely ignored.
Newspaper play a great role for mobilizing public opinion on various national issues. They also help in educating the public. They make us realize our duties and aware of our responsibilities. POVERTY BREEDS CRIMES:
Although it is true that all criminals are not poor and the poor are not all criminals, it is the likelihood of people living in poverty to commit crimes that brings up the correlation.
The causes and effects of poverty are the determining factors that make poverty often resort to crime. The fact that most white collared crime goes un investigated and unprotected is probably one reason why more crime is associated with poverty.
However by starting there is an  connection what we are really saying is that poor people are intrinsically criminal which are also suggests that they are inherently poor as well.
The truth is that all of us share equal probability of doing evil. What is that keeps us  from doing evil? Is it our inherent  goodness? Is it the lack of reason? Does it have to do  with our situations? Perhaps if we were not enjoying the best of life, and we were desperately needful we would be driven to committing crime. 
A family on the  streets can't survive too long on a diet of morals and it is hunger that drives poverty to seek solace in crime. The gap between the richest and poorest in  our society  contributes to this as well. Another  debilitating thing about poverty is that it breeds more poverty.
The poor suffer not just economically but they also suffer from lack of opportunities lack education and lack of health care. They are prey to more violence. The incidence of crime is known  to rise especially in times of unemployment. Those who might  never consider crime might take to it  as means to survive.
So even though it  is very clear that our criminal justice system is broken  and many within the system have lost confidence in it, we keep chasing the same solutions. More punishment for longer terms seems to be our only response. Who do we persist we have sufficiently isolated the poor who are not like us and sufficiently demanded them that we have become indifferent to their plight. It is a matter of insensitivity and arrogance. It is our arrogance . We are more concerned about our status our houses, our cars and our vacations than we are about taking care of each other. This social curtailing of the poor is the major cause of producing more and more crimes in the society.
Our unwillingness in inability to educate ourselves about poverty and do some thing about it is astounding. Our failure in this regard, may ultimately be very destructive to our democracy. There is already a perception in this country that giving up a few constitutional rights is a fair exchange for personal safety....

Targeted killing a new face of terrorism nowadays very commonly being seen in Pakistan has not only hoisted the position of Pakistan in ranking of the most dangerous countries of the world but has a great impact on the living style of the citizens. It has affected the society and the common people in one way or the other.
There is an increase in the number of disabled people social life has been affected because of people are scared to leave their houses and there is a decline in the economic growth of country.

Life is precious for every living being. People are uncertain about their lives whenever they are out their hours, may it be to go for work or justto the cornor shop. They always fear becoming a victim of  targeted killing or unexpected bullet from any direction. Targeted killing is indeed the worst unwanted, unexpected and un welcomed gift for us, but the people of Karachi were never affected or they are worried today. And this applies to the entire nation and to all the living deeds in the world.
Targeted killing has become the reason of starvation for those who live off daily wages. The impact of targeted killing on the people is manifold. It does not merely affect the victim family but also leaves an indelible  remark on the society. People are completed to stay indoors  for fear of being caught in a cross fire or sporadic firing. However how long can one continue to live in a state " arrest". Eventually, if one does venture out he, finds himself in a state of persistent fear that effects him mental health and work performance....

The negative role played by the electronic media is that young boys and girls waste their precious time on chatting on internet. Nude pictures and sex related topics directly produce negative effects on the normal balanced lives of the youths.Moral values are demolished and sex crimes are increased. There are so many movies and dramas which are full of sex motivating scenes and also causing damage to the peaceful life..

Karachi is one of the biggest cities of Pakistan. As a matter of fact the life in Karachi looks charming and attractive. Contrary to this it is surrounded from all side by so many problems like air pollution, traffic jam, road-accident and water shortage etc. But load- shedding is an extraordinary problems which is being faced by Karachi citizens.
The city  which is now grown up as industrial city, with all the major industries established in SITE ans in Korangi industrial area. Other numerous small industries are located in the various suberb areas of the city. All are passing through retrogressive phase. Everybody is saving that KESC is responsible as well as for the professionals who are using electric machinery for work.
All the trade activities concerned though E-mail and internet are also badly hampered. The yields of the factories are dropping as well as the cost production is also increasing. Various factory owners are struggling to come out from this crisis by using alternate to method of getting electricity. This means to burn diesel or petrol as fuel for generators. The cost of these are not stable and keep on increasing every month. Under such circumstances so many small industrialists are thinking seriously to close down their set up which will further deteriorate the jobless conditions of the city.
So far most inventions made in the various fields of science and technology are totally dependable on the electricity. Electricity and electrical appliances are joined with each other and electricity is as much important to the appliances as oxygen is important for life. All the machines come to stand still as the electricity has gone.
Citizens of Karachi although they are trapped very badly in the acute power supply shortage, are struggling very hard to come out of this situation. Solution to this problem lies in  the construction of more  Dams generator Hydroelectricity or to set up more nuclear power stations......

Cricket has almost become our national game. It is a game of chance. This is great gentle man's game is now shrouded in shame. In match fixing in cricket a gifted team lose  and looser teasm win.
During the period of 1979 -80 match -fixing in cricket for the first time had been noticed. It was alleged that in the third test of the indo-pakisatan series in mumbai the pakistani team lost the test internationally.
In 1993, 1994, 1996 many players clamied that they were offered money either to give information to play badly and lose the game. In fact betting and match fixing is the illegitimate child of one day cricket. The basic arthimetical nature of the game balls and runs and few nuances makes one day cricket a gambler's delight. Some of the players proved themselves having no patriotism in deals.
Now a question arises why cricketers would sell their reputations their careers their team including their country's fame. Is something wrong with their moral characters including their patriotic feelings?. Now one can give reason of cricket to take guard.
So the money is polluting the fairness of the cricket game. Cricketers are also like any common man and  greed is a basic human nature. There is no limit to greed and this tendency is of greed one can notice easily in every race Creed and color.

LIFE IN A PAKISTAN VILLAGE;
Most villages in Pakistan are situated away from the noise of the city life. They are peaceful and silent places. A typical Pakistani village consists of unpaved paths and streets. Its houses are mud. But nowadays most of the villagers started constructing their houses made from bricks and concrete though most of the village people have simple habits and limited needs. There are green trees vast meadows and flowery bushes in every village. The blossoming flowers fragrant air the rising and setting sun all leave a healthy influence on the health of villagers. In the summer they rest under shady trees and take bath in cool water.Women also help their men in the work along with their house hold.They also take care of their domestic animals such as cows, goats, hens etc. As many small villages are still void of the facilities like safe drinking water and electricity even hospitals and schools are at long distances, life in the village require more struggle than the relatively modern lifestyles in the circles.
Village life in Pakistan depicts a true picture of our culture. Villagers are very traditional people who are hard workers. They wake up early in the morning withe the fajar prayers and start working in the fields. They work all day long in the field under the sun without caring about the harsh weather. This is only way for them to earn their livelihood.
They live in a serene and clean enviroment surrounded by green orchids and lush crops fields. There are beautiful flowing streams and ponds. People live in a very well knit community; they help and solve each other's problems. The elders have great respect and in the evening they gather together in the village " chopal" a community meeting held every day and discuss their village problems which mainly surround the water distribution from a mohga water outlet from a main stream good or bad crop during the season ans some petty matters of biradris. The dissensions too yet at the end there is more amicable end as in every matter the izzat of the village is and should remain supreme in every village dweller's eyes. Then there will be discussion about lack of basic amenities they don't have proper drinking water, no schools and colleges and some where even no sewerage system at all. Some villages really need attention so that they can move on the road to progress.
Culturally, pakistan's rural folk enjoy a seemingly happy and contented life. Not that they tend to be passive and lack initiative. Contrary to this our rural folk are more energetic and struggle minded then their city dwelling counter parts............

SAVING FACE OSCAR AWARD OF PAKISTAN;
Pakistan documentary film " Saving Face" has won academy award  for best Documentary  short subject at the 84th academy award in hollywood, california, sharmeeen obaid -chinoy, producer daiel junge, director of this recived the oscar award. Accepting the award obaid chinoy dedicated it to the courageous women of pakistan before a large and distinguished audience of top world artists an ever watched by hundreds of million around the globe on television.
"Saving face" tells the story of Dr. Jawad who travelled to pakistan to treat acid attack victims. It is the first tima a that pakistani documentary was  nominated by the academy and subsquently won the covered award.
President asif ali zardari felicitated sharmeen obaid chinoy on wining the first ever oscar award for pakistan on her documentary saving face. Ex prime minister syed yousuf raza gilani announce a high civil award for sharmeen obaid chinoy on winning oscar award for her documentary film. The award is a first for Ms. Obaid Chinoy and the country. It is also a first nomination for a pakistani film. Earning pakistan's first ever  oscar award Ms obaid chinoy makes all pakistanis proud and gives hope for a better and brighter future of the country. Ms obaid chinoy dedicated the award to all the heroes working in the country  and the women in pakistan working for change.
More than 100 woman are disfigured in acid attacks every year. Saving face tells of the work of Dr. Mohammad Jawad a british pakistani surgeon who provides reconstructive surgery to woman who have been burned with battery acid by men often their husbands are or family members.
The film follows one woman and the female pakistani lawyer who had the courage to fight for justice and to see the attackers imprisoned. In interviewes the filmmaker says she  hopes the film will resonate for others in pakistani. She said that;

"It is a story of hope with a powerful message for the pakistani audience. She felt this would be a great way to show how pakistanis can help othr pakistanis overcome their problems"...

Saving face was a romantic comedy unveiling  the truth about how chracters identity can cause personal and cultrual conflicts.
The film will help to increase global awarness of this violent crime against pakistani woman that is seldom discussed.....

PEACE: THE ROAD TO PROGRESS;
Aristotle has said that man is a social animal. He wants to live in the company of his fellow men. Man has both the instincts of violence and peace. Although in a fit of anger, frustation, stress, and emotion he often gives vent to he is peace loving by nature. Violence not only affects physically but it also mars the beauty of expression and soul. Peace is beauty and gives a serene pleasure that makes men happy. Happiness causes an optimistic and encouraging effect on an individual and produces better results. If there is peace happiness prevails on more than one individual. So in peace the combined fruitful effect of the happiness of all the men produces even more beneficial and creative results.
Thus peace leads to a happy society which then always aims the constructive apporach to life. Thus peace and happiness not only make the present situation pleasent but also pave the way for a better future. In such, a situation people do not also become day dreamers but make the most of current available resources without waiting for future opportunities and chances of fate. The reason is that they understand that the best time do any task is is the peaceful and happy time and that is available to them. In this way their journey of life goes on earning for them pleasure and joy at every moment. Thus they achieve the goal of life and that is to go forever but happily......
